Official Opening

April 30th marked the official opening of the Pearson Electrotechnology Centre. Over 125 guests joined the students and staff of PEC to celebrate this occasion. In attendance were Claude Dauphin, the Mayor of the Burrough of Lachine, Gilles Lamirande, Regional Director of the MELS and many other guests representing the Burrough of Lachine, the MELS, the Council of Commissioners of the Lester B. Pearson School Board, personnel of the LBPSB, Emploi Quebec, and community and industry partners.
We are delighted that so many were present to witness the ribbon cutting ceremony, which in this case was actually a wire cutting ceremony. This is another key moment in the very young History of the Pearson Electrotechnology Centre.
