We have now come full circle in the process of opening a new centre. Our first Graduation Ceremony took place this September 14 and four groups received their well deserved honors.
Our team is working diligently to establish partnerships that will provide learning opportunities that give our students a competitive edge. For example, the Telecom students graduating from PEC will leave with a Belden certification in structured cabling (fiber and copper), an ASP card (Health and Safety on the Construction Site), and a Hilti card.
With regards to the Electricity Program, we are providing students the opportunity to learn their trade using such sophisticated equipment as thermal imaging instruments from FLUKE.
As far as program expansion is concerned, it is our hope that the continued interest in the Installation and Repair of Telecommunications Equipment Program will result in the opening of our first evening class as well as increasing the number of day groups.
