Two established programs include Electricity and Installation and Repair of Telecommunications Equipment, both in the Electrotechnology sector. Effective August 2011, the Computing Support Program will be housed at PEC, with Plumbing and Heating on the way!
The centre offers its students the option of taking Electricity, Installation and Repair of Telecommunications Equipment and Computing Support Courses during the day (8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.) or in the evening (3:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.) With an emphasis on having state of the art equipment, hands on teaching and training as well as high safety standards, the centre prides itself on graduating skilled professionals who are well-prepared for the workforce.

In addition, the centre offers service to business training in areas such as:
- Customer service
- Quebec electrical code
- Office upgrade training
- Security guard training
The Pearson Electrotechnology Centre is also the first centre in Canada to have received the prestigious status of BICSI Authorized Training Facility (ATF). ATFs are recognized providers of BICSI's ITS Cabling Installation Program, which is currently being offered at the centre.
